Christmas Coupled!

I've had a good last few days. This card will couple for the OCC challenge and SFYTT for this week. I hope you like it, I just picked up this Texas snowman at Stamp Aslyum yesterday. The all time great Suzy signed us up for a class where we made a great binder of "12 Days of a Texas Christmas." All the stamps used were from Deadbeat Designs, very cute. This Texas Snowman I ended up buying wasn't even one they used in the little book.

As fun as this card and stamp are, the best part of yesterday was running into Angie in the Stamp Aslyum store. It's always so fun to put a real face with a blog, right? She's every bit of adorable.

Despite my two celebrations of Thanksgiving, I managed to squeeze off a few more pounds on the Jenny Craig scale. That may have been an early Christmas miracle. Hope you're all having a great weekend as well! Thanks for stopping by. Blessings!

Merry Christmas ~ day one.

Good evening. Today felt like day one to me but very very Christmassy. I found this red card stock and thought I should put it to go use. So, I made this Christmas card while watching a Christmas movie. The designer paper is Wassail from Basic Grey. My more than talented friend Suzy picked it out. It has a lot of nice options. Have a great week!

KWerner Color Inspiration Challenge

Howdy all! OK. I saw nowhere to go with this combo but a natural kind of nature look. I try my darnedest not to look at the other entries until I've posted mine as not be suede by other ideas. But by this time, posting time, I've super anxious to see your ideas. Thank you for stopping by!

Color Throwdown 18

Good evening all. I'm trying to get back in the swing of things. I really like Old Olive and Choc Chip but I've never used Pale Plum. I cased this card but I don't recall where I found it.
STAMPS: Stemming From and Hero Arts Happy Birthday. Have a great week!

Welcome Addison.

Yesterday was a great day. Family and close friends gathered at my mom's to celebrate her 70th birthday. How I left without a picture of my mom, I do not know. Sharon, did you get one? A special highlight of the day was getting to see my niece's baby Addison Taylor Kennedy. Here she is with the card I quickly put together for her. She was born just a bit premature, so she's still tiny. She weighs about 6.5 pounds now. I think she's a cutie! Of course because I'm her mom's Aunt, that makes me, Tina the great Aunt. What's not to love?

Me and Shelli ~ Thanks to Suzy!

Suzy and I went to the San Antonio Regional meeting last week and met Shelli. Now, I'm not one to be impressed with name and fame but it was nice to meet her. There was a line of people to meet her, I'm such the follower. I stood in line hoping Suzy would come back to meet her as well. She was pleasant, treated us all like new friends. I had a good time.
PS. In all truth, Suzy posted her picture and I was happy to be able to follow her lead. I am again, a follower! =)
