Jingle in my Mojo sketch

Good morning. I love this sketch, it was easy and fun. For me, one can never go wrong with Real Red and polka dots. Are you guys ready for Christmas? I have just a few more things to get done on Tuesday before going to my Mom's on Wednesday. In these tough times, may God bless you and yours!

I knew it.

At least I felt like I knew this baby's name was Aidan before his mom and dad confirmed it.
My good friend Dana gave birth to her third baby on Sunday. He was born a very big boy, 9 lbs 13 oz to be exact. His left shoulder/arm was slightly injured while coming out of the birth canal but Mom and Dad were assured it will heal quickly. Ta da,, , introducing Aidan William Forthman, 21 1/2 inches long. To me, he looks like his brother and Mommy. May God bless this baby and family.

I'l be there.

When I think of the phrase, I'll be there, I'm touched not necessarily by the offer of friends or family but mostly by the promise of God to be there for us in good and bad times. Anytime I think of someone being by my side it's Him before people. My friend Cynthia and I were talking about how our lives were similar but very different. She's married to her college sweetheart, has 4 girls and 2 beautiful grandsons. But it was Cynthia who shared with me the other day, no matter how many people we're blessed to have in our lives, ultimately our walk through this life is with God and God alone. I'm so thankful, He's more than enough.
This card meets the Color Throwdown challenge for the week and Jan Del Muro's sketch.
I made it for my friend Kiah who's mother Virginia went home to be with the Lord last week.
The stamp is called "I''ll be there" by Stampendous.

Bless Your Little Hearth

Hi all. More than anything this little hearth scene reminded me of a friend's house. So, I bought this STAMPENDOUS stamp, added glitz, real red and chocolate chip ribbon. Can't go wrong there. Going shopping tomorrow. Really haven't started anything. Can you believe Christmas is only two weeks away??

Simple Christmas Card.

Now here's an easy card. I found something similar on page 130 of the SU catalog. I started to copy it then added the gentle twist of the changing the "border" ribbon to the ornament string. Usually, I'd say SU's is better hands down but in this one case, I like mine. Yes, I'm shocked too! Have a good day.

Last Minute Color Throwdown

This week's colors were green, pink and black. I had no ideas until I came across this great plaid paper. Hope you like it, trying to post it before the colors change in the morning. Now that could be an amazing race! :) Joy!

SFYTT

Good afternoon gals. Last night I literally snagged a little stash of Always Artichoke paper from Suzy. Not only did I snag a few sheets of paper but she was kind enough to let me use her cuttle bug until the handle fell off. She says I didn't break it but . . . .Anyway, I was trying to help her with her 150 handmade cards, it would seem the work and the materials have started to bloom on her! Yikes. Quite frankly her skills are so far beyond superior to mine that I was surprised she let me help her at all. (hee hee) After I cut out only 20 pieces of card stock, the first square she picked up was "off." A little bigger than the measurements she gave me. Oops! No more help from me! I've told ya'll repeatedly, I'm in for the fun not the accuracy. Case in point, This is not an exact take on the sketch. I'll let the Basic Grey designer paper make it work for me. Does it work for ya'll? Merry Christmas early!

JESUS is wonderful!

This is the name of this stamp by Stampabilities and the truest of truth! I like it and though the card is simple, I think it is completely finished. I like this wide grosgrain ribbon and felt like the card did not need anything else. After all, what could possibly compete with the Name of Jesus in sparkles no less? Be blessed!

My Snowman never showed. . .

And it melts my heart a little to share this. I was going to Denise Sullivan's for a little Stampin' Up Stampers Christmas gathering. My only requirement was to take a side item and a craft for about 12 other party goers. Easy enough right? I started working on it last Friday so what's the problem? I got all my Snowman hats made but the faces were never completed. I ran out of umpth and time. I hate that, it makes me a crappy crafter, when in my heart I want to be better! Ugh. Maybe next time! See my cute hats, maybe I can use them for coworkers. Do you think the faces might show up in the next few weeks?
